Hi everyone and welcome to my blog,

This is officially my first blog which I was encouraged to write and excited to be able to bring you an inspirational thought for the day, or perhaps to change the course of your future.  My hope is that you achieve all your dreams and goals this year, instead of simply placing them on the shelf for another season or another day.

We are all busy in life, school, work, children, businesses, commitments and so on, and never seem to find the time to do what we love or have been purposed for.  Does that sound like you? Do these things get in the way of what you have dreamed of or whats in your heart?  Or are you simply afraid of moving forward in an unknown territory?

I too were in these shoes and sometimes still have to face these challenges each day, but I choose not to allow circumstances dictate my future or allow my dreams to die because of.  When God called me to write a novel about my past experiences in life; faith, love, religion, dreams and fear was all faced with pain, tears and new realizations, that I had to choose to grow up, move on, leave behind and enter a new world and experience I never knew before.

Although I had over twenty years singing/performance experience God gave me a new dream to be an Author and also music Producer.  Two fields which were out of my league and not totally familiar with.  Well music I had my hands in songwriting, but the thought of producing a beat, keeping in time and then adding strings, guitars and more was a little daunting.   Something which required skill and technique, learning new software, also be taken out of my comfort zone and lots of heart and passion.  I have the heart and passion, yet the skill and technique was going to be a new experience and something I had to work on!  Then to write a book to inspire others was completely out of my league and was going to get some getting use to plus learning new skills and help!  Therefore once I was over the fear of the challenge and began to learn, take lessons, attend UNI and inquire of services to assist me it wasn't long before I was on my way and enjoying the journey.

So here I am, 3 years later, a completed novel and nearly completed UNI degree, didn't seem so daunting after all!  It took courage and faith, that God had my back, knew what I should be doing and guiding me along the way.

Don't wait another day, we can all study part time to fit into our schedules or achieve any goal one step and day at a time.  It might not happen over night but it will eventually happen, if you stay on course, believe in yourself and work hard, you can achieve anything!.
